Unlike other adventure tour companies, we will not settle for 'decent' mountain bikes. We have the greatest respect for that, but we are passionate about riding and want you to have the best performing machines available. Be it freeride or ultramarathon, you can bet we'll secure the hottest, coolest, sexiest steeds in the market for you to enjoy: none of this 'bikes-with-front-suspension-are-provided' type of service. We want you to try the best bicycling technology available.

Configuration

This is where you build your own personalised machine. To ensure that your cycling experience is as full and rewarding as possible, we must understand your cycling style and preferences. This might take a few emails back and forth but we absolutely believe it's worth the effort. At the beginning of every tour -with the exception of BikeExpress, of course- we always have a short ride where we let you try the bikes. Also, we help you to find a good fit, because the bike must adapt to you, not the other way around. Apart from sizing and seatpost height, the type of saddle, the length of the stem, bar width, and handlebar configuration, are checked and adjusted. Pedals and shoes of course are an entire whole chapter: Do you ride with running shoes or prefer clipless pedals and cycling shoes? A few years ago this question would've sounded silly, but nowadays most freeriders are riding with platform pedals and sports shoes, so we're back to asking! If clipless, please bring your own shoes, and let us know what pedals you want mounted. Shimano, Crank Brothers and Time are the most common over here.

Bring my bike?

Of course, you are more than welcome to bring your own bike. This is a good thing because most people are more comfortable and safer on a bike they know well. If you plan to bring your own rig, it'd be wise to bring along some spares that might be model-specific (like a spare derailleur hanger).

Yes, but...what bikes?

We have a fine selection of machines. For 2008 we have improved our collection with the latest arrivals from Specialized and Cannondale.  We also have expanded our range with some Kona and Merida machines as well, solid, dependable bikes that handle very well in all situations.
