If you and your friends are passionate about mountain biking, our proposal is that you enjoy an epic, six-day ride through our beautiful Catalonia. Views are awesome, tracks are unforgettable and resorts have an irresistible homey feeling. This is more a kind of guided cross country ride, cycling all week and spending the last weekend in Barcelona.

All our routes start on Saturday afternoon. We all meet in Barcelona at PROBIKE shop where we fit you out with our best bikes and make sure you have all the necessary stuff for the unique six days ahead. Then we take you to the starting point, a village either in the Pyrenees or at the beach, close to the border with France for dinner.

From Sunday onwards and for the next six days we will be riding in stages, crossing medieval villages, several mountain chains, narrow footpaths among wheat fields, to finally reach Barcelona on Friday evening and have dinner there. From then onwards, enjoy your weekend in Barcelona at your own leisure.

Accumulated climbing per day, kilometers per day and number of stops per day will very much depend on you level and biking fitness. We will adapt to you, and will always have an expert guide with the group and a van ready to pick you up and take you to the next hotel. Each stage has from 40 to 70 kms. Accumulated climbing will be adapted to the group level, and ranges from 600 to 2500 meters. We spend every night at small rural hotels (we never camp!).

You also choose the dates and the number of people you want to have in your group. We do not organize fixed expeditions on fixed dates. However, our minimum recommended number of bikers is 4 in order to share the costs.

We have defined 3 main expeditions:

From Dali to Gaudi
Trip starts in Cadaques, a small, whitewashed village, also famous thanks to Salvador Dali and his work, and where he built a house back in the sixties that it's been turned into a museum. From Cadaques you will ride along Costa Brava, its beaches and medieval villages. You will also enjoy several mountain ridges that, facing the sea, follow the coast to Barcelona. There, you will finally be able to visit and enjoy the work of one of the most remarkable and notorious modern architects in the world, Antoni Gaudi.
Depending on your choices, this could easily go up to a total of 300 kilometers over six days.

From The Pyrenees to Barcelona
Trip starts in the French border, and works its way through one of the most mountainous areas in Europe. It crosses Catalonia from North to Centre, and takes you in a sort of diagonal line (as you'll see in the maps) across one of the most remarkable, isolated mountain landscapes in Spain, with some of the most extraordinary peaks and along the best possible singletrack, to finally reach Barcelona from behind, getting a stunning birds' eye view before finally plunging into the bustling city.
This route can be much more demanding so a certain fitness is a must. You should count on some 350 kilometers distance over 6 days, with longer and tougher climbs and descents. Remember, however, that there's always the van...

From West to East
This trip starts right in the middle of the Pyrenees and heads East, aiming at the rocky shores of Northern Costa Brava. Back in the nineteenth century, the area used to be very intensive in mining and textile industries, using the hydraulic energy available in the streams and rivers that work their way to the sea.
In six days we'll cross from the mountainous west to the coastal east, crossing spectacular medieval villages. Last day we'll drive to a village close to Barcelona so you also arrive at Barcelona by bike and entering through our Natural Park facing the sea.
Total of 250 kilometers in 6 days, with less climbing than the others.

Just tell us your intended dates for coming, number of people and your preferred route if any, etc. Once we got all this info, we will come back to you with a detailed proposal. Hotel reservations, fairs in Barcelona, weather forecast and so, will all be taken into account when giving you a proposal.
